Win32 error-this is not a valid Win32 application [CLOSED]

:) Whenever I download something for example Ad Aware 2008 I receive this message saying that C:\Documents and Setting\"my name"\Desktop\adaware2008.exe is not a valid Win32 application. I get it while trying to download other things too. :)
My computer has been really slow lately and I don't know why. It takes ages to load up a web page. :)
Any help on fixing this problem will be appreciated :)

Please do not use large fonts or put them in colour
