okay, i have a mobo that supports only windows200+ well what would happen if I tried to install windows 98.

Hypothetically, there are no system drivers available, or no drivers for integrated devices.

no drivers...


that means no sound, no system drivers so VERY poor performance if at all, no video since that mobo has integrated video, no ethernet since it has integrated internet, no usb....

basically, an expensive paper weight

ya, 98 wont even load, I get a bad command error. anyway, I have the mobo witout the video integrated on the board. there are two versions.
