Hi,
I purchased a used laptop (Hp Compaq tc4200) online and when i switched it on it had the following program preventing the laptop going to bootup screen. It requests username and password which i don't have. Does anyone know how to bypass this? Any advice appreciated.

Regards,
Kuklinsky

I'm sorry, we can not help you bypass security. If you did legally purchase this system online, then you should do two things. Contact the seller to see if they will provide any assistance. The other is to purchase a valid OS for that system. STRONGLY suggest that you format and reload the system. You may be able to contact hp and acquire the system restore cd's for just a few $$$. Much less than it would cost for a new os.
