Hello, I recently got my World of Warcraft account hacked and they changed my password. The only thing I've downloaded was a Sun Java Update. I think that might be the problem can someone help me please. Please help me. Thank you in advanced.

This includes installing the Windows XP Recovery Console in case you have not installed it yet.

For more information on the Windows XP Recovery Console read http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314058.

Once you install the Recovery Console, when you reboot your computer, you'll see the option for the Recovery Console now as well. Don't select Recovery Console as we don't need it. By default, your main OS is selected there. The screen stays for 2 seconds and then it proceeds to load Windows. That is normal.

Post the log from ComboFix when you've accomplished that, along with a new HijackThis log.

Thanks for reopening the post. I don't have a windows cd and I'm confused about the Recovery Console setup.

Just download the recovery consol from the Bleeping.com link and use Combofix to install it as per instructions..

OK I still see the keylogger, I thought combofix would kill it. Never mind I will do that now

Please download the OTMoveIt2 by OldTimer.

Save it to your desktop.
Please double-click OTMoveIt2.exe to run it.

Copy the file paths below to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C (or, after highlighting, right-click and choose Copy):

Return to OTMoveIt2, right click in the "Paste List of Files/Folders to be Moved" window (under the yellow bar) and choose Paste.
Click the red Moveit! button.
Copy everything in the Results window (under the green bar) to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C (or, after highlighting, right-click and choose copy), and paste it in your next reply.
Close OTMoveIt2

If a file or folder cannot be moved immediately you may be asked to reboot the machine to finish the move process. If you are asked to reboot the machine choose Yes.

THEN

Download OTScanit to your Desktop and double-click on it to extract the files. It will create a folder named OTScanIt on your desktop.

Close ALL OTHER PROGRAMS.
Open the OTScanit folder and double-click on OTScanit.exe to start the program.
Check the box that says Scan All User Accounts
Check the Radio buttons for Files/Folders Created Within 90 Days and Files/Folders Modified Within 90 Days
Under Additional Scans check the following:
- Reg - BotCheck
- File - Additional Folder Scans
Now click the Run Scan button on the toolbar.
Let it run unhindered until it finishes.
When the scan is complete Notepad will open with the report file loaded in it.
Click the Format menu and make sure that Wordwrap is not checked. If it is then click on it to uncheck it.

Please attach the log in your next post.

To attach a file, do the following:

Click Add Reply
Under the reply panel is the Attachments Panel
Browse for the attachment file you want to upload, then click the green Upload button
Once it has uploaded, click the Manage Current Attachments drop down box
Click on to insert the attachment into your post

OK that looked clear, now I would like to remove the orphan registry entries

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here or Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply.

Extra Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove,you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts,click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer,please do so immediatly.

Logs required : Just MBAM and how is your computer running now ?

Everything seems to be working fine. Are there any scans I can use to make sure my system is clean?

Everything appears to be clean but if you wish I can run one more scan to be totally (ish) sure

We will now do a deep search of your processes and files

Download avz4.zip from here

Unzip it to your desktop to a folder named avz4
Double click on AVZ.exe to run it.
Run an update by clicking the Auto Update button on the Right of the Log window:
Click Start to begin the update

Note: If you recieve an error message, chose a different source, then click Start again

Start AVZ.
Choose from the menu "File" => "Standard scripts " and mark the "Healing/Quarantine and Advanced System Investigation" check box.
Click on the “Execute selected scripts”.
Automatic scanning, healing and system check will be executed.
A logfile (avz_sysinfo.htm) will be created and saved in the LOG folder in the AVZ directory as virusinfo_syscure.zip.
It is necessary to reboot your machine, because AVZ might disturb some program operations (like antiviruses and firewall) during the system scan.
All applications will work properly after the system restart.

When restarted

Start AVZ.
Choose from the menu "File" => "Standard scripts " and mark the “Advanced System Investigation" check box.
Click on the "Execute selected scripts".
A system check will be automatically performed, and the created logfile (avz_sysinfo.htm) will be saved in the LOG folder in the AVZ directory as virusinfo_syscheck.zip.
