I am using XP, and one day my Maxtor Drive just didn't show up in my computer. When the Retrospect Software comes up it shows the drive (E) but says it is disconnected. When I go to Disk Management, it doesn't show at all. I 've gone through all the gyrations of turning the drive off and on, the PC off and on, new usb cable, even a new enclosure. I've done into DOS to do a chkdsk and it says the network drive is not connected. Now I'm stumped!! Can anyone help?
