all i get when i try to play videos is a blank screen and the audio. i have tried playing these videos on my other programs and they work just fine. this happens with all the video files i have.

i have tried to download new codecs, lower my video acceleration, and rolling back wmp 11 to wmp 10. none of this worked. i even tried to reinstall wmp 11 and it wont let me. i dont know what else to do, so please help.

Maybe it's your display driver wigging out. My Windows Media Player was doing the same thing and it turned out I just needed a display driver update. Hope this helps!
