Hi

I wonder if anyone can help please. I am not sure how I have managed to do this but have tried several things to resolve it, none of which have worked.

Every time I open internet explorer or outlook express I get the windows installer popping up. I have tried re-entering the disk but it doesnt solve the problem. I have pressed cancel twice in each application and then it disappears until I do something else like sending an email.

I have even purchased something from Uniblue on line store that promised to fix error but hasnt - Registry booster.

I am running Windows XP home edition. I have also tried the Product Recovery disk but that doesnt appear to have worked either.

"The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not available. Insert the Microsoft Word 2002 disk and then click OK". Further down in same box it says use source Microsft works suite 2002.

Thanks in advance for any help that can be offfered as I am losing the will to live!!

Hi emma robinson,

Try downloading and installing CCleaner (www.ccleaner.com). Run both its cleanup function and its registry cleaner. Reboot.
