ok...first off.
this forum has so many different sections i have no idea if this is in the right one or if this topic is already on here...but i very much doubt that it is.
also i have limited time since my homepage will pop up any second over this while im typing.

ok...heres the problem.

example.... im typing on here now.... all of a sudden my homepage GOOGLE will POP UP over the top....if i leave it...it will pop up again and again...opening MULTIPLE pages...ALL THE SAME.

THIS HAPPENS ON BOTH FIREFOX AND I.E

it doesnt happen every day....its random...could leave it a week and it starts again.... or i can restart and its ok.... then the next day it starts again.

i went on the mozilla forum and nobody had a clue what i was talking about. i have searched the net to find anyone who has this problem aswell.....ive found NOBODY.

i have a packard bell laptop. windows xp.
i use AVG,i have spybot, index.dat analyzer.
i save NO COOKIES,NO HISTORY.i use window washer ..
so this is not a spyware problem at all....

surely somebody on here can help me cos i have no idea why this happens...

it just happened now while i was typing here.... google.co.uk poped up right over this..... if id of left it it would of repeated itself.

example.....if i was to go away from my pc for say 10 minutes i would come back to DOZENS of repeated open windows.

IF ANYONE CAN HELP I WOULD SURELY APPRECIATE IT....

help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :(  :P

ALSO.....even if i change my homepage to youtube, myspace, yahoo or whatever.....IT STILL HAPPENS.

warrenschofield,

This is a very common sign that you may have Malware on your system.

I would suggest reading this first:

http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/Must-Read-Before-Posting-Hijackthis-Log-t2852.html

Then post a HijackThis log in this forum:

Here is a link that describes Malware:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malware

i downloaded that malware free program it found 41 infections that AVG didnt remove.

Hence my recommendation to post a HijackThis log in the Malware Forum.

is there any program that removes ALL this stuff, virus's,malware, trojans, hijackers etc etc...

None at the present time, but I am sure someone will try to debate that.. :)

Hello warrenschofield...

Let's let the malware experts deal with this one...this time, actually post a log and let them help you remove the malicious software that's causing the problem.

Please go to the Malware Forum and follow the instructions found there.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself...then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum. Be patient, the Malware Forum is a very busy place and a two or three day wait is not unusual. Do not reply to or bump your own topic. If it shows a reply it may be overlooked as one that is being worked on.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.

PS...using all CAPS is seen as shouting and is considered rude.

Your problem is in the malware removal forum, nothing was removed

Please have some patience and do not bump your thread
