I have gone into Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs buty it won't remove the BBC iPlayer of Channel 4OD!
Every time I select them I get a message saying 'This action is only valid for products that are currently installed'
But they are appearing on the currently installed program list and I have to quick start icons on my little shortcut bar!

Help!

Thanks

Sam

Both Sky and the BBC iPlayer use Kontiki. If you have either of these installed then Kontiki will not be uninstalled with 4oD as it is required by both of these applications. It's entirely possible that the installations have conflicted since they both use the same technologies.

If the programs work, I'd leave them, they're handy to have around.
But having said that...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kontiki has links to a Kontiki removal tool which should get shot of the backbone technologies.
