Hello all,

Thanks for this site and all the help I've found on it. I've been lurking for a while and have decided to ask a question. Any help will be much appreciated.

I need to be able to send timed command strings through rs-232. I have my hardware operating properlly and I can send the strings through hyperterm with success. But now I want the strings to be sent every 5 minutes or so throughout the day. Is there some type of recurring event rs-232 program that's out there right now?

I'm sure this would be pretty simple for someone with adequate programming knowledge but I am limited when it comes to programming. Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Erik

Edit: sorry if this is in the wrong section. Couldn't see a better section to post in.
