When I logon to my PC, I get Windows Explorer and then AOL Messenger starting up, neither of which I want immediately.

MS Help suggests - Start > Settings > Taskbar and Start Menu > Click Advanced > Advanced again > expanf Programs folder > expand Startup folder and remove the programs

Unfortunately, neither of these programs appear in my startup folder, so I have no idea why they are being invoked at startup.

I can't confess to being an expert on Windows ME and would appreciate any help from someone with more knowledge than me.
