Normally this is a piece of cake ... not this time.

New Computer...put in the WEP key and all info is the same and yet it gives the above referenced message "This Network has Security Enabled".

When i click on the lock hoping I'll get some options..nada. What am I not seeing here?

Running XP Pro on a Dell Laptop. The Router is Net Gear. Cable.

1st step I would take is knock of the wep key. Can you access If yes your wep key is wrong.
Have you used an O instead of a Zero ?
If access is ok after wep is removed then reinstall wep from start.
