My computer was working fine last night. I just rebooted because for some reason my sounds are low, after rebooting it , it wont go pass the windows loading thing then it'll go back displaying "lanparty dk" [my motherboard] then it wont go through the loading screen again. This will repeat the sequence like forever.

I don't receive any errors, no nothing. Any idea guys?

If you are not able to get into Safe Mode you will have to use a Restore Point or a Windows Repair.

Since you say inserting the Windows CD did nothing i would have to wager to guess that the BIOS is not set to boot from CD first. Check that setting.

Mak

I tried changing the boot sequence, still no help.

I cant even go to loading screen. Tried putting my windows xp cd but nothing happens.

another question, my primary and secondary ide slave is set to none, is that default?

I turn on power, shows logo, checking slaves, black screen after 5 secs go back to logo, checking slaves, black screen.

This can continue like forever, i have no idea what happened to it. Works fine last night, after rebooting, "tadah" this happens.

help?

Sounds like the jumper settings on your hard drives is off. Do you have multiple hard drives setup? Do you have multiple Optical drives?

Gotta be honest, I'm not really smart about this computer stuff.

So i have no idea how to set it to primary.

All I did was enter (IDE HDD auto-detection) then = none.
