Hello again,

Let take a deeper look at some things,

ComboFix

Please visit below webpage for instructions for downloading and running ComboFix

http://www.bleepingc...to-use-combofix

This includes installing the Windows XP Recovery Console in case you have not installed it yet.

For more information on the Windows XP Recovery Console read http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314058.

Once you install the Recovery Console, when you reboot your computer, you'll see the option for the Recovery Console now as well. DO NOT select Recovery Console as we don't need it. By default, your main OS is selected there. The screen stays for 2 seconds and then it proceeds to load Windows. That is normal.

Post the log from ComboFix (located in C:\combofix.txt) when you've accomplished that, along with a new HijackThis log.

Hi allybabey11

I notice on task managers processes that i have numerous internet explorers which i havent got opened myself working in the backgroud, which is possibly slowing down my computer
please help! because i dont want to format again

I am not seeing a reason to reformat so don’t be to worried about that. But I do have a couple questions for you, when you say internet explorers running in the background do you mean under the processes tab you see explorer.exe this is most likely caused by your McAfee site adviser its part of the McAfee antivirus your running. And yes McAfee eats up a lot of resources

Also when you say your system is slow how do you mean, its not opening programs fast enough, is it slow online, is it to the point you feel like you can’t use it?

Lets do this and see what we can find:

Jotti File Submission:

  • Please go to Jotti's malware scan
  • Copy and paste the following file path into the "File to upload & scan"box on the top of the page:

    • C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ABOUT TEAM INFO SECT\noun logo.exe
  • Click on the submit button
  • Please post the results in your next reply.

ermm ye

ive looked again on processes, and i have do have one, explorer.exe, however there is sometimes a few IEXPLORER.EXE 's which take up about 30,000K+ sometimes, which i havent opened. :-|
my pc is slow mostly on the internet loading up pages etc, and sometimes when clicking on a opened program on the start bar takes a while to come up.
its not really bad though, not to the point i cant go on, just agravating how long it takes sometimes.
its actually not doing it anymore everythin seems fine i dont know if its fixed lol :) :)
