((my post is nothing to do with the hijackthis File by the way)) I've had this several times before :tazz:. what you need to do is:

1. In Internet Explorer(if thats what your'e using) go to tools, then internet options.
2. Go onto the "Connections" Tab and select whatever Derbiz.com has made your'e default dial up. Click Remove
3. Change your homepage back to whatever it was before Derbiz.com
4. Delete all shortcuts in Programs and on your desktop and empty your recycle bin.
4. Finally scan for viruses with Adware or whichever anti-virus you've got, but make sure it is COMPLETELY up to date on updates+the like.
5. Delete/Quarantine results

It should be gone.

Hope that helped ;)

Nelle,

If you like to help out in this forum you can enroll in classes here:
http://www.geekstogo...here-t4817.html

ONLY Geeks to Go Staff members are allowed to reply to topics in this forum. This is due to damage that can be caused by improper advice.

gemboy,

Check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [checkrun] C:\windows\system32\eliteykc32.exe

Make sure to allow the change if and when prompted by MSAS and Startup Guard
Reboot and make sure hidden files are showing and see if you can find this file:
C:\windows\system32\eliteykc32.exe

If so, upload it here:
http://virusscan.jotti.org/
and let me know the results.

In Hijackthis click Config > Misc Tools > Delete a file on reboot.

Copy and paste this line into the filename-window:
C:\windows\system32\eliteykc32.exe

Click Yes on the prompt if you want to reboot.

After the reboot check the following items in HijackThis.
Close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [checkrun] C:\windows\system32\eliteykc32.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ASDPLUGIN] C:\WINDOWS\system32\uk_nm.exe -N

Reboot once more and post a new HijackThis log.

Yes, you can delete that file. It was obviously a partner in crime for hijacking you.

Then copy the part in bold below into notepad and call it ADSnoway.reg

REGEDIT4

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ASDPLUGIN]

Doubleclick that file and confirm you want to merge it with the registry.

Reboot and let me know how your computer is behaving.

My pleasure. :tazz:

One more change that may have been made:
Check under IE > Tools > Internet Options > on the Connections tab if it has been set to autodial. If it wasn't before, reset it.

Please do have a look at my site about removing and preventing spyware.
