This might be a dumb question :)
I'm looking at mobos and was wondering if I can utilize a pcie 16x slot for a pcie card. ie.. use 2nd 16x slot on SLI ready board for a pcie wireless card??? :)

PCI Ex x16 slots are designed for graphics cards only.
You may be able to obtain PCI Ex x1 peripheral cards for the majority of purposes.

Failing that normal PCI cards will be available for a good few years to come yet.
