Help needed,
I recently installed a Behringer UCA202 USB audio device to be able to record from external sources and to improve the sound quality of my computer. I am using it primarily with Adobe Audition 1.5 and connecting the pc to my audio system. It worked great. The S/N ratio improved drastically as well as the overall sound quality. Unfortunately it only works when using Adobe Audition and nothing else. I would like very much for Windows Media Player, my Irfanview Multi Media Player and all the other sound sources of my computer to go through the Behringer UCA202 USB port adapter and my audio system. The old Diamond 24 bit PCI sound card has a terrible hum problem and not nearly the same S/N ratio. I would really appreciate advice on how to get the rest of the computer programs going through the USB adapter and my audio system. After hearing how good it sounds through Adobe Audition my old PCI sound card just doesn't cut it.
Sincerely,
T. E. Luell/TL.
