Hey everyone
Well firstly, i am so sorry if i posted this in the wrong section, I don't really have a clue when it comes to computers :)

Anyway, I have a problem with my laptop. Everytime I turn it on and then when it comes to the welcome screen, and i type in my password and press enter, it says "Application failed to initialize (0xc0000005). Click OK to terminate the appliacation" or something like that. And then only my wallpaper appears and my taskbar and all the icons on the desktop are gone. So i access the internet through ALT-CTRL-DEL, but i would really like to fix my computer up!

Please help me if you can, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks - Misty

Hello,

Can you get into Safe Mode? Can you use last know good config? Hit F8 after the BIOS Screen, the first thing that comes up, but before the Windows Loading screen starts. This will allow you to try these methods.

If nether of them work we will have to take some further steps.

Cheers,
Mak
