My Epson stylus photo 950 printer has decided after 7 or 8 years not to run with compatible ink cartriges. The printer monitor window shows all the cartriges as empty and with a red cross on them all with the message "Installed print cartriges cannot be regognised". I have always used compatible ink and the problem arose after trying to replace the yellow cartridge which was empty.
Using XP pro connected to the computer through LP1.
