i have a computer with windows xp and when i try to log into my name after turning it on it will quickly flash my background and then logs me off what is this?

all is fixed was a problem with some crucial files being deleted just repaired the os and good to go

how did you get this fixed? I am having the exact same problem. I have tried to replace the missing files but don't know what to replace or where to put it. Thanks for any help
