Ok so on friday afternoon I received an update through AVG and needed to reboot which I did.

Upon the system restarting AVG brought up an alert saying that it had detected a virus named PCANDIS5.SYS - Trojan horse Generic10.ASPV and that it was successfully put into the vault and healed, no further threat to my PC.

Since then I've had alot of trouble with my facebook constantly bringing up errors.

I ran the scan again this afternoon to which it found nothing.

I decided to try a restore back to thursday before the virus came in just to be sure however it will not allow me to do it. I select when to restore to, it shuts down, starts again saying Restore Incomplete.

Just checked the vault in AVG again and there are now 2 logs there, one for the virus detected friday and another variation on the same virus saturday morning 3am in the system restore part.

So anyway... despite searches on my computer and virus scanning, it shows as not there but it obviously is...

How do I clean my system!?!?!?!

Hey can you guys delete this as I have fixed it myself.

You might want to look at answering the oldest post first like it says you do cause so many who posted after me got replies and help.
