Hi,
I hope someone can help me.

I'm running XP home edition version 2002 with service pack 3. on a PH Pavilion pentium 4, 3.60 GHz processer with 1Gb ram.

I have 2 disc drives, HP DVD writer 630c & samaung DVD-ROM SD-616E

The problem I have is that the HP DVD writer 630c is not recognised as a writer when I try and burn a gift CD or DVD using Picasa2 i get an error message " No recordable device found".

Both drives are ok when checked in device manager (no yellow triangle) but neither will recogise recorded media from any programme. Can't see anything in explorer is asks me to insert a disk.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
