Hi Im wondering if using limited user side still has protective purposes to the pc security since high speed is always on more or less? Is it accessing primary side while running online even if on limited? I mean its on all time both sides eh?

Thanks :)

Hello,

If you installed your antivirus and firewall from the Admin account it will operate on all accounts. Not just the Admin account.

Cheers,

thanks for the reply :)
I think I better clarify my inquiry tho'. Im concerned that since high speed runs all the time that even if Im browsing net on limited side its actually active on both sides anyway? Therefore wouldnt a virus etc his admin's side since modem active in whole system even tho Im on limited surfing?

Thanks again :)

Hello,

With Limited User Accounts they should be setup that they can not download or install anything without the Admin rights or password. So anything that would happen would ceom from teh Admin account and yes it could affect both user accounts.

Cheers,
Mak
