HI,
When I try to boot the system. it wont boot up , instead gives me error message

"INF file txtsetup.sif is corrupt or missing , status 47872.
Setup can not continue, Press any key to exit."


What do i do to fix it and runs windows. I recently order ultimate boot disk from ebay. I still can not figure it oit what to do , Please help me on this.

Hello reena,

It sounds like to me your RAM memory is going bad.

Try reboot tapping F8, choose Safe Mode with Networking and test your memory using Memtext86+.

Unzip it and burn it to disk. Set your computer to boot from the CD and run Memtest86+ overnight. Any errors indicate you need to replace RAM modules.

I did run Memtest86+. It seems no error. Every test shows passes. what I can do next in it?

Hi,
I do not really know what I did with "Ultimate Boot cd 2008" but now when i start the notebook . it gives me messages
that " os not installed. Please insert OS setup disk and press any key" I dont get any recovery or set up disk with this notebook, Please tell me what I can do next.

Do you still can enter in safe mode (reboot tapping F8).

Did you try something with Ultimate Boot CD 2008.

No , I can not go to safe mode anymore. Yeah I was trying to wipe the data (I am not sure) , i thought it might help b'coz this problem started when I download cell "blackberry " application software.I did chat with "SONY" assistant , he told me to order recovery CD and it will help.
Please tell me what i can do next
