I am looking to upgrade from my wireless "g" setup (Netgear Wireless-G Enhanced 108Mbps Broadband Router)and change everything over to "n".

Is any company better than the other? Price doesn't matter to me, I just want the best results for what I pay for.

With a 4 port router, can I set my laptop to a dedicated channel (lets say #1 port)?

Is there any way to give my laptop priority to downloading anything, over other computers on the same router?

Is there a benefit of using a PoE (Power over Ethernet)??

Thanks for all of your help

Check out the Dlink and Linksys Draft N routers. If you want your computer wireless then there is no way to connect it to port 1, unless you hook it up wired. A draft N router runs about 300Mbps, which is super fast.
