It says, "Unable to open default email folders. Could not open the item. Try again."
If I try to open an Outlook Express saved email (from my cousin), it says, "The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists, please restart Outlook."
I tried setting Outlook as my default email but that did not work.
Thanks for any help you can give.

Hello nanajanet,
We can do this : uninstall Outlook and uninstall as much of Office as possible. The use the Windows Installer cleanup utility to clean up the rest.

Then install Outlook again.

I can't find my install CD. The one that came with the computer was a temp one and I did not pay for upgrade. I still have 2000 or something like that. I did save MS Office Install info, from my old computer, onto THIS computer. I can't find a way to install Outlook separately. Thanks.
