:) I loaded Windows XP and after it completed, it set the monitor as a default monitor because it couldn't find the correct driver. So now my monitor is locked with the lowest settings for color and is locked at the 640 x 800. I have run the troubleshooter and tried everything there and nothing seems to work.

I changed monitors and reinstalled Windows XP and it still didn't have any effect.

Any Ideas as to what would cause this or how to fix it would be greatly appreciated.

Howdy and welcome to GTG:

You need to load the drivers for your video card. Those will either be on a driver cd you got with your system or should be available from the manufacturers website.
