Try remove the battery (disconnect from power-outlet if connected with cord)
Wait 15-20 minutes before putting the battery back in, alternatively, try another
battery if you got one.
See if it will start normally.

did you attempt to go to safemode....turn on computer a tap F8
choose safemode....are you able to this and does desktop show

Have not loaded any new soft ware or hardware

you could try this
press windows key
tap upper arrow three times
then press enter
hit spacebar
type in msconfig
press enter
then press upper arrow key
might be tricky here
press it twice
then enter twice
hopefully it will boot normally

does that mean your laptop is onit is on original settings other than that i do not know. it s on now.
if it is how did you fix it

type in devmgmt.msc
press enter
Ctrl + ALT + TAB tap once
press down arrow Three Times
press right arrow
then enter
Ctrl + ALT + TAB tap once
here are your options
by pressing ALT+U...Will Uninstall Driver>>>NOT THIS ONE
Or Pressing ALT+R...Will Rollback Driver<<<<<<TRY THIS ONE SEE IF IT WILL WORK
tap enter 3 or 4 times
Computer Should Restart
