I have just got a new keyboard with the music player controls (and some others) along the top, The controls work if i am in the actual music player apllication, but if i have it minimized the only button that works is the mute key.

I was just wondering if there was a way to get it to work when its minimized or when im playing games ect.

check to see if there is any software/updates that need to be installed. Chances are the mute and volume are the only keys that will work when not in media player. Check the documentation that came with the keyboard as well.

nope got all updates installed, and theres nothing in the booklet from dell, i seem to rember it working when i first got this pc a few months back.

Also have had a look at the settings under dell quickset but theres nothing to do with the kayboard there
