I cleaned out the cache and all in safe mode. AVG 8.0 which I recently downloaded always says no viruses detected, but there are over 300 warnings? I don't know what that means. I do think it's odd as much as I'm on myspace and different sites that I never have any viruses... I'm wondering if I have malware or a trojan or a worm or something. Or maybe a registry problem. Shouldn't there be more RAM on my computer than 256? I'm wondering if there are hidden files in the computer that I need to delete from add remove.... I don't know, just throwing some ideas out there for my still incredibly slow comp. :)

Thank you,

Also with other virus programs downloaded in the computer it usually says unable to scan these files(then it has a ton of files listed). I'm also wondering if there are unnecessary programs or files in my computer. Or if important windows components are missing. Again just throwing some ideas out there and trying to provide as much information as possible. Thank you...

Yeah, about that, I had the same deal.

Uninstall AVG with all it's settings.
Then reinstall AVG from here-

It's a newer version and will update correctly also.
You won't get those warnings which were a pain.
I actually put them all in the vault only to see them again at the next scan.

So anyway I think they improved with the latest download,
and I haven't had any warnings or problems.

But do go to the malware section and run those programs for sure.

you only have 256 MB of RAM...you will see a big speed increase if you add another 512 to that...ram is cheap...
