System shuts down while in BIOS Setup

Turn power on and enter BIOS to make setting changes and after approximately 1 minute computer turns off and no changes made. All components recognized in BIOS and cooling fans are running.

If the system is not getting past POST this usually means a defective power supply, or the CPU hasn't been seated properly or the heatsink isn't mounted properly. The fact that the fans are spinning is interesting but it doesn't mean anything if the heatsink isn't on properly.
