I run on Windows Xp.

My computer has been going pretty slow as of lately, nothing too slow but I would prefer it to go faster being I have little patience. It mostly gets slower as I go from program to program - there's slow loading times, etc.

I wan't to format my C:/ to start everything over in a semi-clean slate.

I am a complete idiot when it comes to computers and face a problem. I wan't to format but I have cable and I'm the host to the networking around my house. Will this at all be affected by me formatting? Also, I wan't to keep Warez (P2P SHARING) since I have quite an extensive collection of videos and music and don't want to re-download them. Is this at all possible? I doubt this collection will fit even with all my blank cds.

Anybody have any ideas?

Thank you in advance and please keep in consideration - I am a complete idiot.

Thanks again.
