Gateway GT4022 Will Not Reboot

hi all. i have a gateway gt4022. it will run fine as long as i do not reboot or remove power. sometimes it will reboot but more often than not even the fans do not come on during reboot. but i can turn off at this point with the power button and turn back on and it will post fine. any ideas??? tia
