This is a post after completing all required steps prior to. System seems to be back but do notice in screensaver display properties and other places that the original or mutated files are still present. Will wait to make any type of correction intil directed to do so. Here is both Hijackthis.log and uninstall files. No viruses were discovered running Panda.

Thank you for your time and direction. The first 3 steps seem to resolve almost all the problems, except, upon reboot the first time only the background/desktop appeared - there were no icons or start/tool bar so had to reboot again. Wondering if that info will also help?

Have run malware and made another log today. Found 4 trojans (Vundo). System is still running very sluggish and am following up with the anti-spyware scan which I will again log and follow with panda online scan. I did read the posting directions and understand that making no adjustments until I receive assistance portion. Hopefully running this malware and antispyware and then Panda will keep this thing at bay. As mentioned I've found 4 trojans (Vundo) and the process is not over yet with the spyware but see it has found at least 1 instance. Please advise as soon as possible, i really need to be able to use my PC soon to upload pictures and descriptions to my Ebay store.

I'm checking my email and posting to the forum from my roommates PC and am hoping to avoid any problems with this machine for sure. Also I purchased PCTools Spyware Doctor and RegistryFix and because neither seemed to work before I registered at the forum and followed the directions am wondering if I should request my money back ?
