dreamweaver crashing

Whenever i try to upload CSS files to a remote server CS3 dreamweaver crashes. I have also tried to upload the same file in dreamweaver 8 and it also crashes. I cant even rename the files. Does anyone have this same issue ? i really need help on this one thanks guys ..
