I used Ad-ware to scan my OS. Below is the log:

Vendor:Windows
Category:Vulnerability
Object Type:RegData
Size:6 Bytes
Location:exefile\shell\open\command "" (%1 %*)
Last Activity:2005-4-28
Risk Level:Low
TAC index:3
Comment:Possible virus infection, executable file extension compromised
Description:General Windows Security Issue. Your system security may be
compromised. The specifics of the possible compromised item are listed in
the comments section.

I have fixed the problem with the software. But what confused me is what and
when caused the problem? Could you help me to analyze the log further?

Thank you.

Hi, Registration. Welcome to Geeks to Go. We need to see the complete logfile to be of assistance. Make sure you do a WebUpdate and post a full system scan as instructed in the pinned topic in this forum.

Thanks.
