Bought a new Toshiba laptop with xp pro pre-installed.
Three weeks later outlook express would not receive or send any e-mail, nor would thunderbird, etc. For e-mail now using windows live.

question: I wold like to re-install outlook express because it may affect other programs. Should I use Toshiba disks to reinstall OE, will re-installing OE take me back to the same setup, programs, etc. that were on puter when bought? What are the perils of trying to re-install OE? Is it worth It?

I have made a clone of the hard drive so I can get back to what is on the hard drive now. P.S. I have tested the clone and it works.

Thanks for the help
