Hi there.. hope anyone who is reading this can help me. My computer always hang randomly and i dunno what had gone wrong with it. Run an antivirus/spyware scan on my computer which didnt find any faults and i have also tried reformatting the computer but the problem still persist. I have closed any additional background programs whenever i start up my com so i don't think its the memory problem. It just hang randomly, like sometimes if it's idle, it will just hang? :) Anyone know how to solve this?

Some more info would help for this problem.

Is there a name brand and model number?
Does it have a video card like a phone line Modem?
Or is it built in to the computer where your USB ports are?

When you say 'hang'.
What does the screen say if anything?
Do you get the Windows XP thing scrolling under the logo.
Or nothing.

In other words what does it do before it hangs, if anything.

Too many questions really, but these help for a starting point for figuring it out.

Thanks for your reply.

What do you mean by is there a name brand and model number? Sorry as i'm a dummy to computer hardware so please advise.. :)

No.. when it hang, the computer just stop responding.. the mouse cursor just freezes on the screen and ctrl alt delete won't work too. There is no indication before the computer hang, it just hang unexpectedly.

Let the malware experets look at it.
Then if you are still having problems after they give you an all clear.

Post here again.

Those programs should fix it.
