OS: Vista
CPU/Ram: 1.8ghz/500mb ram
Model/Manufacturer: compac presaro laptop

hi helping a friend fix his laptop and read a post from a while back with same type of issue
if i post up a hijackthis. log can anyone tell me what to do or which one to delete?

seems like a virus or spyware eating up HD space
i cleaned the system out in safemode deleting things to make space
but after logging back in normal mode virus/spyware takes up HD space again

I have ran like 4 of my own virus-scanner/spyware/adware/spybot
also ran the ones in the Sticky/Pinned: You Must Read This Before Posting A Hijackthis Log
seem to still have the same problem

if anyone could let me know the next step or if i should post up the hijackthis log
i have not run combofix yet was not sure what or how to use it

finished all scans suggested in sticky
anyone have anything else to try or check?

Reason for Edit: Merged posts.
