A couple days ago I for some reason decided to download a program for a windows dvd player through Limewire (I know, not so smart) and I ended up downloading a trojan or spyware or something. I use both AVG and Windows Defender. AVG detected some harmful files and 'healed' them, but I kept getting messages from Windows Defender that I had harmful files. Most of these files were .dll files and I ended up manually deleting them. I thought all was well because I did a system scan with Windows Defender and it said my computer was fine. But, the next time that I rebooted my computer I had 4 seperate Run.dll errors saying that it couldn't find the files that I had deleted the day before. A while after that, I started getting more messages from AVG about harmful files that kept on appearing at random. So I came to this site and did all the things that were suggested.

This is my SuperAntiSpyware Log:

I got SuperAntiSpyware to fix these problems and after it did, I rebooted my computer and instead of receiving 4 run.dll errors, this time I only received one.
This is what the error says:

"Error Loading C:\Useres\NAGHMEH\AppData\Local\Temp\rnejkaet.dll
The specific module could not be found."

I downloaded VundoFix and did a scan but it found nothing.

I did another quick scan using SuperAntiSpyware and it found nothing.

Hello, my name is fenzodahl512 and welcome to Geekstogo.. Please do the following...

Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) from HERE or HERE and save it to your Desktop.
  • Close all other windows before proceeding.
  • Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
  • Please let your firewall allow the scanning/downloading process.
  • When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt and extra.txt -- please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply.
If you are using Vista, you need to right-click at dss.exe icon and choose Run as Administrator

Everything seems to be running well. I don't get any more errors when I restart my computer. Looks good to me! Unless you can spot anything else that needs to be fixed, I think I'm good. Thanks so much!

All is good to my eyes.. :)

Now for some cleanup..
  • Make sure you have an Internet Connection.
  • Double-click OTMoveIt2.exe to run it. (Vista users, please right click on OTMoveit2.exe and select "Run as an Administrator")
  • Click on the CleanUp! button
  • A list of tool components used in the Cleanup of malware will be downloaded.
  • If your Firewall or Real Time protection attempts to block OtMoveit2 to reach the Internet, please allow the application to do so.
  • Click Yes to begin the Cleanup process and remove these components, including this application.
  • You will be asked to reboot the machine to finish the Cleanup process. If you are asked to reboot the machine choose Yes.

Please Install/Update Sun Java

Updating Java:
  • Go to Start --> Control Panel --> Add or Remove Programs.
  • Search in the list for all previous installed versions of Java. (J2SE Runtime Environment.... )
  • It should have next icon next to it: Posted Image
  • Select it and click Remove. This will uninstall the previous (outdated) version of Java.
  • Then Download and install the newest version from here: Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 7

Let's clean your Restore Points and set a new one:

Reset and Re-enable your System Restore to remove infected files that have been backed up by Windows. The files in System Restore are protected to prevent any programs from changing those files. This is the only way to clean these files: (You will lose all previous Restore Points which are likely to be infected)
To create a new Restore Point.
  • On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
  • Click Properties.
  • Click the System Restore tab.
  • Check Turn off System Restore.
  • Click Apply, and then click OK. This will flush your old System Restore.
  • Then please UNCHECK the Turn off System Restore.
  • Click again on Apply, and then click OK. This will create a new Restore Point
System Restore will now be active again

If you are using Windows Vista, please go HERE for tutorial on how to use, disable and enable System Restore

I noticed that you already have..

1. AVG8 as antivirus
2. Malwarebytes' as antispyware..

However, I haven't seen any third-party firewall in your logs.. Do you have any? If you don't, please install ONLY ONE of these free and excellent firewall below:
After you install the third party firewall, please disable your Windows firewall. Please go to My Computer >> Control Panel >> Windows Firewall and choose Off (not recommended) option. Then please click Apply and Ok.

Lastly, to keep your operating system up to date please visit the link below monthly
