I have just brought an Apple Ipod Nano

I downloaded itunes 7 today, but cannot connect to the itunes store.

The error message i get is

" itunes could not connect to the itunes store
make sure your network connection is active and try again "

I have run the network connectivity diagnostic and all seems fine - this is the last bit :..........

"Firewall Information

Windows Firewall is on.
iTunes is enabled in Windows Firewall.

Connection attempt to Apple web site was successful.
Connection attempt to iTunes Store was successful.
Secure connection attempt to iTunes Store was successful.
Secure connection attempt to iPhone activation server was successful.
iTunes has never successfully accessed iTunes store. "

I am now confused as to what to try next - any suggestions ??

Thanks

I am having the same error message. My OS is Vista and I use Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2007. I have tried everything I could find on apple's website to fix this problem. I added a firewall exception in Trend Micro as well. All of a sudden, I seem to be having this problem. Everything worked fine before.
