I just bought a ASUS P5E Deluxe LGA 775 Intel X48 ATX Intel Motherboard and I was wondering can I only use ATI Graphics cards on this mobo or can I use something like an nvidia 8800GTS?

You can use any video card you like but you are limited to one video card. However if you are thinking of using more than one video card then you can only use 2 ATI cards on this board (they call it crossfire). If you are thinking of using 2 NVidia cards to go SLI, then this board will not work.

So yes, you can use one NVidia video card on this motherboard like the 8800GTS you mentioned.
