My Friend has a Dell Dimension 3000, and tries to play games on it with the integrated graphics, which i told him isnt gonna get him real far. unfornately, he is limited to the PCI interface on his motherboard, and he thinks that he'll want to get a new one. what is the best PCI card that i could get for him? I looked on newegg and it seems there that the Geforce FX 5500 is the best option, but if anyone knows of a better card to get, or you just want to comment, let me know.
thanks

I would want to make sure the power supply is up to handling the extra load. It may be a nonstandard supply so replacing it with a larger one might not be easy. Also make sure that you can even add a video card, on some models it's not possible or very easy.
