Please go to Start>Run type in Notepad.
Copy what is in the code box below into the open Notepad window.
Change the "Save As Type" to "All Files". Save it as fixthis.bat on your Desktop.
@Echo off

sc stop "AntiVirScheduler"
sc delete "AntiVirScheduler"
sc stop "AntiVirService"
sc delete "AntiVirService"
attrib -s -r -h "C:\Program Files\Avira"
rd /q /s "C:\Program Files\Avira"
del fixthis.bat
exit
Then please Right click on click on fixthis.bat and choose (Run As an Administrator) a window will open and close quickly.
This is normal.
===============
Please post one more dss log after that.

Nope unfortunatley it isn't.
Please try to uninstall Avira again.

If it fails then download it again then uninstall t again.

It should remove it self after doing that.

You can download it here:
http://www.download....cdlPid=10831109

Post a new log after that and let me know if that works.

The following is a list of tools and utilities that I like to suggest to people.
You do not have to have all or any of them they are only suggestions.
This list is full of great tools and utilities to help you understand how you got infected and how to keep from getting infected again.

Spybot Search & Destroy-Uber powerful tool which can search and annhilate nasties that make it onto your system. Now with an Immunize section that will help prevent future infections.

Spyware Blaster - Great prevention tool to keep nasties from installing on your system.

Spywareguard-Works as a Spyware "Shield" to protect your computer from getting malware in the first place.

IE-SPYAD- puts over 5000 sites in your restricted zone so you'll be protected when you visit innocent-looking sites that aren't actually innocent at all.

Windows Updates - It is very important to make sure that both Internet Explorer and Windows are kept current with the latest critical security patches from Microsoft. To do this just start Internet Explorer and select Tools > Windows Update, and follow the online instructions from there.

Tony Klein article To find out more information about how you got infected in the first place and some great guidelines to follow to prevent future infections you can read this article by Tony Klein.

Try this then.
Click here to download OT Clean it > http://download.blee...r/OTCleanIt.exe
Save it to your desktop then right click it and run it as administrator.
Then click the Cleanup button.

If you still get access denied then you may have to turn off Norton 360.

Let me know what happens.
