I have a laptop that i use for college and its running horrible and i am going to need in in a month after working well all summer. After I log in when windows is loading my toolbar freezes. I can click on the clock and windows minimized within taskbar and also the start tab. I am not sure what is causing this if it is a virus because my internet explorer is also running extremely slow. I have pop-ups also sometimes that never have shown up. Any and all help is appreciated.

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.
