Hi caseym. Welcome to GTG. ;)

You are running HijackThis from the Desktop; please create a new folder for it and move the program into the new folder

Please set your system to show all files; please see here if you're unsure how to do this.

Please Download LSPFix from http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm and Run the Program. Disconnect from the Internet and close all Internet Explorer Windows. Check the "I know what I'm doing" Button and remove all traces of aklsp.dll. Reboot.

Please download Process Explorer by Systernals from here..

Also download KillBox by Option^Explicit from here..

Unzip Process Explorer and double click on procexp.exe

In the top section of the Process Exlporer screen double click on winlogon.exe to bring up the winlogon.exe properties screen. Click on the Threads tab at the top.

Once you see this screen click on each instance of enrul1991.dll once and then click the kill button.

After you have killed all of the enrul1991.dll's under winlogon click ok.

Next double click on explorer.exe and again click once on each instance of enrul1991.dll then click the kill button. Click on the Threads tab at the top.

Once you have done that click ok again.

Next run HijackThis and place a check beside each of the following.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [7HgJc] C:\WINDOWS\dlvdxdaj.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KavSvc] C:\WINDOWS\system32\vikiiv.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Nsv] C:\WINDOWS\system32\nsvsvc\nsvsvc.exe

O16 - DPF: {15AD6789-CDB4-47E1-A9DA-992EE8E6BAD6} - http://static.windup.../bridge-c27.cab

O20 - Winlogon Notify: Shell Extensions - C:\WINDOWS\system32\enrul1991.dll

Now click fix checked and close HijackThis.

Please copy the text from within the code box below and paste it into a blank notepad window.
Save it as vundo.reg and in the save as type box choose all files.

Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.

REGEDIT4

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{ED748391-D25B-4A9B-BBD5-9F27E03E4A60}]

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{581F22DA-7202-4F21-AEF3-114787156016}]

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MSEvents.MSEvents]

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MSEvents.MSEvents.1]

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\MSEvents.MSEvents]

[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\MSEvents.MSEvents.1]

Double click on Killbox.exe and then check the delete on reboot button.

Enter the following filepath and filename into the Full path of file to delete box

C:\WINDOWS\system32\enrul1991.dll

Click the red circle with the white x and allow your computer to reboot.

After your computer has rebooted please run Hijackthis again and post a new HijackThis log.

You have a number of randomonly named files on your system. We like to start with an online virus and trojan scan. Even though you have antivirus software on your system, it can become corrupted by malware.

Please download a free online virus scan here. Do not run it yet.
http://housecall.antivirus.com/

Go to add/remove programs. There may be one of these entries:

‘MS AUpdate’
‘MS Updates’
or
‘ISTbar’

If present, remove them.

If those are not present, don't sweat it.

I want you to run Spyboy S&D.

http://majorgeeks.co...wnload2471.html

Install it, apply all updates and run it.

Please delete your temporary files.
Double Click My Computer (WinXP: Navigate to Start --->My Computer)
You will see an icon representing your harddrive (most likely C: Drive) Right Click on the hard drive icon and click Properties at the
bottom of the fly out window. One the very first tab (General) you will see a button labeled "Disk Cleanup"...click that button.
Make sure the following are checked:
Downloaded Program Files
Temporary Internet Files and
Recycle Bin

Click OK and Disk Cleanup will delete those files for you.

Enter task manager (control>>alt>>delete) and stop this process if it is present.

C:\WINDOWS\dlvdxdaj.exe

You may wish to print out a copy of these instructions to follow while you complete this procedure.

Please save Hijack This in a permanent folder (i.e. C:\HJT). This ensures backups are saved and accessible.

Please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Á³# L"h'þ9Óœð3rÅWC:\Program Files\ISTsvc\istsvc.exe] C:\WINDOWS\dlvdxdaj.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KavSvc] C:\WINDOWS\system32\vikiiv.exe

O20 - Winlogon Notify: SharedDLLs - C:\WINDOWS\system32\c6000gdme60a0.dll

Please reboot into safe mode (continually tap the F8 key while your system is starting, select Safe Mode from the menu).
Be sure you're able to view hidden files, and remove the following files in bold (if found):

C:\WINDOWS\dlvdxdaj.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\vikiiv.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\c6000gdme60a0.dll

Run housecall. (tick the "Auto Clean" checkbox):

After it runs, delete everything it finds, reboot and post a new log. :tazz:

Hi. How do I remove those files (if found)? Do I just search for them and delete them? Or use add/remove? Or other?

Thankx.

I'm sorry for not explaining it better. :tazz:

Go to start>>control panel>>add/remove programs. Search and find the program. If/and when found, click remove. ;)

Hi. Thanks for clarifying, I just wanted to be sure I didn't do the wrong thing. I looked in the add/remove programs section (with view hidden files on) and did not see these 3 applications. Here's the newest log. Thanks so much for all your help. BTW, I don't know if this is relevant, but whatever malware I've picked up launches my IP (Internet Explorer) and almost always goes to www.loadingwebsite.com, although there are others that do show up).

Happy monther'sday.

Please check this in hijack this.

O4 - Global Startup: nrir.exe

Reboot.

Please repost the log. You must have it in wraparound in notepad . It's difficult to read. Don't do that next time. Thanks. :tazz:

What problems are you having?

Hi. Again, thanks for all the help. Sorry about the word wrap... The problems I'd been having were mainly pop-ups (about every 2-3 minutes) and/or pop unders. Also, even when my browser was not open, if my laptop was on and not sleeping, something would fire up a browser. Sites like www.loadingwebpage.com, etc would load. Since I deleted that last file, I haven't had these problems. Have you solved it? Here's my log. Even tho I have turned off word wrap, it still looks like it's wrapping in this reply window. I've attached the .txt file with the hope that one of these will be easier to read. Thanks again.

Click here to download Pocket Killbox by Option^Explicit. Extract it from the zip file then double-click on Killbox.exe to run it. Place the following lines (complete paths) in bold in the "Full Path of File to Delete" box in Killbox, and click the red button with the white X on it after each. Keep track of any files it tells you either could not be found or could not be deleted, as you'll need those later:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\k026lafs1d26.dll

[/b]For the files that it either couldn't find or couldn't delete, in the killbox again this time, put a mark next to "Delete on Reboot". Copy and paste each file into the file name box, then click the red button with the X after each. It will ask you if you want to reboot each time you click it, answer NO until after you've pasted the last file name, at which time you should answer Yes.

If you receive a message such as: "Component 'MsComCtl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." when trying to run TheKillbox, click here to download and run missingfilesetup.exe. Then try TheKillbox again.
