Hey guys.

I recently built my gaming computer (about a week ago), and i'm having problems with vista. Whenever i'm doing ANYTHING on this computer, it randomly decides to freeze up on me, looping the last sound played over and over. This happens about 3 or so times a DAY!

Its Windows Vista Ultimate (SP1) 64-bit.

When my computer freezes, it just freezes. No blue screen, no nothing! It just freezes, and i have to manually shut down the computer (either by hitting the switch, or keeping the power button held down for a few seconds)

Any idea whats going on?

(i tried getting support from microsoft, but i didn't want to pay the 59 dollar charge)

Also, some of the games i play are starting to lag a LOT. i went from 100 fps, down to 25 fps. (does this have to do with vista too?)

Any and all help is appreciated, Thanks!

I'll let you know if i have anymore problems. (hopefully i won't)

This is a screenshot of event viewer, right around the time that my computer froze again.

I wasn't able to view the photos, but are you able to run in Safe Mode without the machine freezing on you?

I can't see your error code, but you might try suggestions in the links on this page:
