I have bought a new PSU to upgrade my p.c. from the internet, the new PSU has come with a 24 pin connector and my motherboard has only a 20 pin connector!!! :)
Have i messed up badly? or is there anyway around this problem...maybe an adaptor to change a 20pin into a 24pin??

Some psu come with a 24 pin that can be split to a 20 pin you should check to see if yours can split.

jacktro, take a close look at your 24pin connector. Most (all?) PSUs with a 24pin connector, have 20+4pin connector, meaning you can put the additional 4 pins to the side and use just the 20pin connector.

Edit: Take a look at this image, if what I said above doesn't make any sense.
