Can I combine 2 computers, one that is running windows 98se and the other Windows ME. I took the hardsrive out of the ME and put in as Master slave. This doesn't work. I tried to take the network card out of the computer with SE and install on the ME computer but it wouldn't work. I'm learning and any help would be appreciated.

Hi there,

It sounds like what you're attempting should work - are you trying to make one computer from the two?

Just make sure that when you install the second hard drive, that you enter the BIOS and select to boot from the first hard drive. I find when I install another hard drive into a computer, the BIOS always defaults to boot from it instead...

Cheers
