Unknown folder with wierd name? Safe to delete?

Hey,
Just got my Network backup hardsiks running again, and was brwosing through the files i have on them when i came across a folde called
5d947d95a139f8c1ad4208f15fe2

All it has in it is $shtdwn$.req, mrt.exe._p and mrtstub ...

Is it safe to delete these files as i dint put them on there?

These are normally left behind by Windows patches and security updates and the odd service pack or three.
They should be safe to remove, in fact mrt.exe._p is part of the Malicious Software Removal Tool which is up for dowload every month from Windows Update and the folder's just been left behind.
